What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Food Network) featured The Pickled Pig in the episode "Flavortown Flavorfest", which aired 2025-08-22, spotlighting the shop's cured and smoked meats. The Pickled Pig is a specialty food shop on East McMillan Street in Cincinnati, Ohio, known for curing and smoking its own meats and pickling vegetables, according to its own website. Checked on 2026-09-08, smokedandpickled.com carried a 2026 copyright notice and listed the same McMillan Street address and phone number that Google Places associates with the business. The site also linked out to a Google Maps entry for the shop's exact location.
Google Places listed The Pickled Pig as operational at the same check. No independent review site or news coverage was consulted beyond the restaurant's own website and the Places record, so the confirmation rests on those two sources rather than a second, separately dated account.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
