According to the Philadelphia Inquirer (2022-07-11), the shop's owners, Tony Sr. and Nick Lucidonio, pleaded guilty to federal tax charges and changed the store's name to Tony & Nick's Steaks amid the fallout; Tony Luke Jr., who split from the business in 2015, continues to operate the separate Tony Luke's franchise in multiple states, per Wikipedia. Yelp's listing for the renamed shop at the same Oregon Avenue address, updated 2026-08, showed active customer reviews (Yelp).
