What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
For the 'Aces of Authenticity' episode (aired 2013-10-21), Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Torino's @ Home, an Italian trattoria in Albuquerque known for its housemade pastas and family-style service. The restaurant operated at 7600 Jefferson St NE. According to comments on a Gil's Thrilling and Filling Blog post (nmgastronome.com, last updated 2026-03-31), original owners Maxime and Daniela sold the business on 2016-02-15, and new owners Jenna and Daniel John had taken over its assets by 2016-02-21. That same blog page's title now carries a closed designation, and a separate business-directory page for Torino's @ Home lists the Jefferson Street location as permanently closed. No source located by this check gives a reliable exact date for the eventual closure under later ownership.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
