What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Wild Barley Kitchen & Brewery in San Antonio for the January 17, 2025 episode "Sandwich Smorgasbord" (S39E8). The brewpub on Broadway brews its own beer on-site and, according to its own website, sells it in to-go four-packs of 16-ounce cans alongside its kitchen menu. Wild Barley's website, checked 2026-09-08, advertised a switch to new hours effective June 1 and offered a working online-ordering system, and Google Places lists the business as operational at 8403 Broadway as of the same check.
The brewery requires a valid ID for to-go beer pickup, per its own website, and continues to promote weekly-changing beer availability for pickup or in-store purchase. The site also directs customers to a full food and beer menu and a separate ordering page, both live at the same web address as of the 2026-09-08 check.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
