360 Lounge Reloaded Is Now Rio Ultra Lounge — Bar Rescue Update

Bar Rescue featured this Charlotte, North Carolina, venue in the episode "The Napoleon Complex" (S8E27), which aired 2023-03-19. By the time the episode aired, the location was operating under the post-rescue name 360 Lounge Reloaded. A Yelp listing for the address at 7030 Smith Corners Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28269, updated 2026-07, shows the venue now operating as Rio Ultra Lounge. Yelp describes it as a 21-and-over lounge open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 p.m. to 2:15 a.m., with the kitchen closing at 2 a.m. Restaurant Guru's listing for the same address, filed under the 360 Lounge Reloaded name, includes reviews describing the space's current operation as Rio Ultra Lounge, indicating the rebrand took place sometime after the episode aired; neither source gives an exact date for the name change.

Restaurant Guru lists 197 reviews for the location with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. Reviewers describe an outdoor patio with fire pits, bottle-service specials running Wednesday through Sunday, and regular comedy shows. Feedback on food and service is mixed: some reviewers praised the venue's staff and atmosphere, while others described inconsistent drink quality and slow service during busy nights. The venue's own website, rioultraclt.com, did not load when checked, so its hours, menu, and ownership have not been confirmed directly with the operator, but the Yelp and Restaurant Guru listings both show the address operating as Rio Ultra Lounge.

TikTok and Threads accounts associated with the Rio Ultra Lounge name were also found during this record's research, though neither carried dated posts that were reviewed here. Neither the Yelp nor the Restaurant Guru listing describes the specific problems Jon Taffer and his crew addressed inside the bar before the 2023 rescue, nor do they detail what changed in the space, menu, or staffing at the time of the makeover. No source found here explains when or why the venue's name later changed from 360 Lounge Reloaded to Rio Ultra Lounge.
