What happened after Food Paradise?

"Food Paradise" featured Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, in the 2013 episode "Meatball Paradise" (S4E13), spotlighting its Swedish meatballs and other Scandinavian dishes. The restaurant sits in Door County on Wisconsin's Bay Shore Drive and, per its own website, is "the restaurant with goats on the roof." According to the business's website, aljohnsons.com, the restaurant now operates alongside a gift shop called the Butik and a separate kitchen and bar, the Stabbur, with a beer garden. A check of the site on 2026-09-08 found posted hours for the dining room, Stabbur kitchen, and Telemark bar, along with references to a goat cam. Google Places lists the business as operational at 10698 North Bay Shore Drive. No closures, ownership changes, or legal actions appear in any source reviewed.
