What happened after Hotel Hell?
Applegate River Lodge, on the Applegate River in Applegate, Oregon, was the property featured in Hotel Hell's third episode of season two, which aired 2014-08-04. According to KTVL, the lodge came under new ownership and a new name in a sale reported by the station; KOBI5 separately reported that the incoming owners planned to revamp the property. The new owners, led by Anna Eastman together with her husband, her brother, and her brother's fiancee, purchased the lodge in December 2022 and renamed it 'The Lindsay,' after Lindsay Applegate, a pioneer associated with the Applegate Trail, according to Travel Southern Oregon's business listing for the property.
The new owners kept the seven-room lodge open while closing the restaurant for about four months to install new flooring, walls, and lighting, and they hired chef John Blevins, previously of the Cloven Hoof in the Bay Area, per the same listing. The renamed property, now doing business as the Lindsay Lodge & Restaurant, operates at 15100 OR-238 in Applegate, between Grants Pass and Medford near Jacksonville. Its website, thelindsaylodge.com, returned HTTP 200 when checked 2026-09-09, carried a 2026 copyright notice, and offered live room and table booking under the tagline 'Gather. Eat. Celebrate.,' alongside pages for weddings, a farm market, and a photo gallery.
