What happened after Food Paradise?
On Food Paradise's 'Manliest Restaurants 2' episode (2012), Burt's Place appeared for its pan-style deep-dish pizza, a specialty its own website describes as "Chicago's Premier Pan Pizza." The pizzeria operates from a modest storefront at 8541 N. Ferris Ave in Morton Grove, a Chicago suburb, rather than the city of Chicago itself, though the original listing lists it under Chicago as originally featured. The website, with a server last-modified date of September 7, 2026, lists hours of Thursday through Saturday 4:30-10:00 p.m. and Sunday through Wednesday 4:30-9:30 p.m., closed Mondays, and offers online ordering through Slicelife.com. The consistent hours and active ordering widget indicate the pizzeria is still operating out of the same storefront where it was originally filmed for the episode, with no indication of a relocation or closure since.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
