What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On the August 2012 Unconventional Comforts episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Fieri toured the kitchen at this Norridge deli for its homemade Italian beef, watching the counter slice fresh Italian deli meats for sandwiches. The deli has operated at 4431 North Harlem Avenue in Norridge, Illinois, since first opening on Chicago's West Side in the 1960s before relocating to the city's north side. Its Italian beef and house-cured meat selection have remained the core of the menu for decades. The business's own website, checked in September 2026, listed current weekly hours, an active online ordering system, and copyright dating to 2026, all consistent with ongoing operation. No closure, relocation, or ownership change has been reported since the episode aired.
