What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode featured California Pizza Kitchen's gourmet, California-style pizzas, including the barbecue chicken pizza the chain is credited with popularizing. According to Wikipedia (revised 2026-09-07), attorneys Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax founded California Pizza Kitchen in Beverly Hills, California, in 1985, and the chain has since grown into a national casual-dining brand. The South Beverly Drive location the show visited maintained an active online ordering page, order.cpk.com, when checked on 2026-09-08. A Google Places listing checked the same day recorded the Beverly Hills address as operational. Wikipedia's account credits the chain's Beverly Hills origin with introducing California-style pizza topping combinations that other chains later adopted.
