What happened after Food Paradise?

"Pizza Paradise" featured Lombardi's, a pizzeria at 32 Spring Street in the Nolita neighborhood of Manhattan. According to Wikipedia (revised 2026-08-17), Lombardi's opened in 1905 and has been recognized by the Pizza Hall of Fame as the first pizzeria in the United States, though Wikipedia noted that later research has identified other pizzerias that may predate it by more than a decade. A 2026-09-08 check of the restaurant's website, firstpizza.com, showed a server last-modified date of 2026-08-30 and found current Thursday-through-Saturday hours, online ordering, and mentions of outdoor enclosed seating and a photo gallery for visitors. Google's Places listing for the Spring Street address separately lists the business as operational, consistent with the actively updated site.
