What happened after Man v. Food?

On Man v. Food, Casey Webb took on the 808 Burger Challenge at Cool Cat Cafe, then located on Lahaina's Front Street in Maui, per episode listings on IMDb and TV Guide. Cool Cat Cafe was a 1950s-themed burger diner that had operated on Front Street for roughly two decades. The episode aired August 6, 2018. Maui Now reported on November 9, 2023 that the business's original Front Street building was destroyed in the August 2023 Lahaina wildfire. KITV reported that Cool Cat Cafe reopened under the same name and ownership at a new location in Kihei in June 2024, keeping much of its original staff and menu. The business has since added additional Maui locations, including an express counter at Whalers Village, according to Aloha State Daily in March 2026.
