What happened after Man v. Food?

On Man v. Food, Casey Webb visited Da Kitchen in Kihei, Maui, taking on the Polynesian Paralysis Loco Moco, an oversized version of Hawaii's rice-hamburger-gravy-egg staple, per episode listings on IMDb and TV Guide. Da Kitchen is a family-owned, Hawaiian-style plate-lunch restaurant serving the Kihei area of Maui, with a separate location in Kahului. The episode aired August 6, 2018. Since then, the restaurant's own website, dakitchenkihei.com, continues to list current hours and menu items, and Yelp's page for the location was last updated in August 2026 with thousands of accumulated reviews and photos. No change in ownership, name, or address has been reported since the taping; the business remains at the same S Kihei Road storefront where the episode was filmed.
