What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited this Kihei pizzeria for the 'Great Gear' episode, aired 2016-06-17, which highlighted the shop's wood-fired pizza-making equipment and process. The Outrigger Pizza Company has operated at 20 Alahele Pl in Kihei, building a following for pizzas cooked in ovens the owners also sell to home cooks, per the business's own website. At our check on 2026-09-08, outriggerpizzas.com was live with a working delivery-ordering link, a photo gallery, a menu-and-catering page, and a page for its custom pizza-oven sales, alongside links to the shop's Food Network appearance.

The site carried no dated text confirming the current year, but the functioning ordering system and multi-page navigation were consistent with regular, current use rather than an abandoned domain. No separate news coverage or ownership change was found in the sources checked.
