What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
The 'Snack Attack' episode featured Craftsteak's dry-aged steaks alongside its raw bar of oysters, crudo, and chilled seafood. Craftsteak was chef Tom Colicchio's steakhouse at 85 Tenth Avenue in Manhattan's Meatpacking District, an East Coast outpost of his Las Vegas concept. According to Foodcomas, Colicchio closed Craftsteak after roughly four years in the space, citing that high-priced steaks did not hold up during the economic downturn, and remodeled the space to open Colicchio & Sons, which debuted in early 2010. Yelp's listing for the 85 Tenth Avenue address was updated in August 2026 and continues to mark Craftsteak closed, consistent with the 2010 changeover.
