What happened after Food Paradise?
"Hamburger Paradise" featured Old Homestead Steakhouse, a Manhattan steakhouse in the Meatpacking District known for its hamburger alongside its classic steak menu. According to Wikipedia (revised 2026-07-11), Old Homestead Steakhouse was established in 1868 and is the oldest continuously operating steakhouse in the United States; Wikipedia also reported that its staff are represented by UNITE HERE Local 100. A 2026-09-08 check of the restaurant's website, theoldhomesteadsteakhouse.com, found current dinner, wine, and dessert menus, weekend hours (Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday afternoon, closed Mondays), and links for national shipping through Goldbelly as well as delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Grubhub. The site also features a "Celebrity Sightings" page and a blog documenting the restaurant's history in the Meatpacking District. Google's Places listing for the 9th Avenue address separately shows the business as operational.
