Part 1 — Season 21, Episode 8 Aired

On the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode 'Meat In The Middle' (aired 2014-11-07), The Brick House Cafe and Catering showcased scratch-made soups, sandwiches, and salads alongside fresh-baked pastries and espresso drinks. Founded in 2005 by Heather Ludzack, a fourth-generation Cable resident, per the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce, the cafe sat in downtown Cable, Wisconsin, near the Chequamegon National Forest, and also ran a custom catering arm for weddings and private events. A Yelp listing for the business, updated 2026-05, marks it as permanently closed.

A check of the cafe's own website, thebrickhousecafe.net, on 2026-09-07 found the site's security certificate had expired, leaving the page unreachable in a standard browser, a sign consistent with the listing. No announcement of a successor business at the Reynolds Street address turned up in the sources checked.

Part 2 — Season 23, Episode 17 Aired

On the 'Extra Helpings' compilation special, Guy Fieri revisited the Brick House Cafe and Catering, a Cable, Wisconsin coffee-and-lunch spot Heather Ludzack opened in 2005. The segment highlighted the cafe's Salted Caramel Latte and its pulled pork sandwich, according to a Bayfield County Journal account of the original 2014 filming visit.
