What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
Best Thing I Ever Ate featured a dish from Rice to Riches, a rice pudding shop in the Nolita section of Manhattan known for a rotating menu of flavors such as chocolate, caramel, coconut, and tiramisu served in a space-themed retail space. The shop has operated at 37 Spring Street for years, drawing a steady stream of walk-in customers. According to Yelp, the listing was updated in September 2026 and showed Thursday hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the hours themselves last updated on 2026-03-25. The shop's own site, ricetoriches.com, listed delivery and takeout options and a working online ordering path. Tripadvisor and Cititour separately carried active listings for the Spring Street address. No 2026 source found reported a closure or relocation.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
