What happened after Man v. Food?

Casey Webb also took on a 4.5-pound Irish breakfast challenge at Flann O'Brien's, an Irish pub in Boston's Mission Hill/Brigham Circle neighborhood, per Metro US's coverage of the December 4, 2017 episode. The Mission Hill Gazette reported that the pub closed in December 2020 and the owner sold the building in early 2021; the Newport Daily News separately reported the same owner was working to buy a restaurant property in Newport, Rhode Island around that time, which the Mission Hill Gazette's report ties to the Boston closure. Yellow Door Taqueria took over the Tremont Street space in 2022, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. A June 2026 post on the same site raised the possibility that a Flann O'Brien's could return to the neighborhood, though that report described the move as unconfirmed rather than settled.
