In the same Los Angeles episode, Casey Webb traveled to Genkiyaki, a Lakewood restaurant opened in 2009 that billed itself as a fusion of Korean, American, Mexican and Japanese cooking, per foodiepie.com's episode listing. Webb took on the Zombie Burrito Challenge: a two-pound burrito of chicken and beef, mozzarella sticks and fries wrapped around a ghost-chili-infused hot sauce; Webb won the challenge. Longbeachize reported that Genkiyaki closed in June 2023 after 14 years in business, with the owners announcing the closure on social media without giving a specific reason.

Yelp's listing for the Del Amo Boulevard address, updated as of June 2026, still shows the business tagged "CLOSED." Longbeachize also reported that a Cambodian-owned food truck operation, NGHBRS Kitchen, took over the storefront for its first brick-and-mortar location in June 2023.
