What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's 'Hot Dog Paradise 2: The Missing Links' (aired 2013) featured Gene & Jude's stripped-down Chicago-style hot dog, topped only with mustard, onion, relish, and fries tucked into the bun. The stand is a walk-up hot dog diner at 2720 N. River Rd. in River Grove, Illinois, just outside Chicago. A 2026-09-08 check of geneandjudes.com found posted daily hours, including 10:30am-1:00am service, and continuing self-description as a top-rated hot dog destination, though the site's copyright line reads 2023. Google's business listing separately marks Gene & Jude's as operational at the same River Grove address. Between the current hours listed on the business's own site and the Google listing, the record indicates continued operation under the same name and location since the episode aired.
