What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'Deep Fried Paradise' (S1E15) featured Goodson's Cafe, spotlighting the Tomball restaurant's Southern-style fried fare. Goodson's Cafe is a Southern-cuisine restaurant operating on Tomball Parkway in Tomball, Texas, offering a sit-down dining room as well as catering for parties and corporate events. According to Goodson's Cafe's own website (goodsonscafe.com), checked 2026-09-08, the restaurant continues to promote its catering packages and takes online reservations, describing itself on its site as a leading Southern restaurant in Tomball. Google Places lists Goodson's Cafe's business status as operational as of the same date. The combination of an actively maintained reservation and catering system on the restaurant's own site with a current operational status from Google Places indicates the restaurant remains open at its long-standing Tomball Parkway location.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
