What happened after Food Paradise?
"Hamburger Paradise" featured Half Moon Restaurant & Saloon, a wild-game and craft-beer restaurant in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. According to PA Eats, owners Scott Hammond and Kristin Hess opened Half Moon in 1997 and built a menu that included elk and bison alongside a wide selection of Belgian and craft beers; PA Eats reported the restaurant drew two write-ups from The New York Times over the years. PA Eats reported that Hammond and Hess closed Half Moon on 2017-03-11 after twenty years, choosing to retire. Delaware Business Now reported in 2017-02 that the Hammonds turned the space over to the managing partners of Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen, a Delaware-based restaurant group, who planned renovations before reopening the address as a Grain location. Google's listing for Half Moon Restaurant & Saloon at 108 West State Street marks it permanently closed.
