What happened after Food Paradise?
"Hamburger Paradise" featured Pop Burger, a burger restaurant and lounge in Manhattan's Meatpacking District known for pairing classic and specialty burgers with a late-night bar and lounge scene. According to Burger Weekly and the NYC Tourism + Conventions website, Pop Burger opened in 2003 at 58-60 9th Avenue and later added a second location at 14 East 58th Street near Bloomingdale's. Yelp's listings for both the 9th Avenue and 58th Street addresses, updated 2026-06, mark the restaurant permanently closed, and Gayot's New York restaurant guide separately lists Pop Burger as closed. A Google Places search for "Pop Burger" instead surfaces 7th Street Burger, an unrelated East Village restaurant at 91 East 7th Street with no connection to the original business.
