What happened after Food Paradise?
Hugs & Donuts appeared in the 'Donut Shop' episode, alongside Glam Doll Donuts, Broad Street Dough Co., Five Daughters Bakery, Firecakes Donuts, 180 Xurros & Xocolata, and Baker Miller, as a donut shop in Houston at 1901 N Shepherd Dr. Google's listing for the business marks it permanently closed as of a 2026-09-08 check, and the listing shows no operating website for Hugs & Donuts. No dated news source or public record was found describing when or why the shop closed, or showing a successor business currently operating at 1901 N Shepherd Dr under a different name. Google's listing, current as of the 2026-09-08 check, is the only current source on the shop's status, and it shows no other business name for the address.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
