What happened after Food Paradise?
Pinkerton's Barbecue appeared in the episode "BBQ Bragging Rights" (S12E3), which featured this Houston barbecue restaurant, now grown from its original Airline Drive location into a small group with additional restaurants in Upper Kirby and San Antonio. The business also sells its own sauces, rubs, and seasonings and runs a philanthropy program called Come & Eat It. According to the restaurant's own website, pinkertonsbbq.com, the server last modified the page on 2026-08-20, and the site displays a 2026 copyright year with current hours of Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., alongside a working online-ordering option. Those combined signals support that the Houston Heights location remained open at the time of this check. No independent third-party source was reviewed to corroborate the finding.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
