What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured this Williamsburg diner on the same January 14, 2013 episode, highlighting classic breakfast plates and comfort-food specials served in a retro diner setting on Union Avenue. The restaurant operated at that same Union Avenue storefront for its entire thirteen-year run in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood, drawing a loyal, longtime following for its weekend brunch service. According to Greenpointers, published 2020-07-10, the diner closed permanently that month, with the owner citing reduced indoor seating capacity and outdoor-dining limits during the COVID-19 pandemic as unworkable for the business. A Yelp business page for the Union Avenue address, updated 2026-06, still lists the diner as permanently closed, and the restaurant's own website returned no response during a 2026-09-08 site check.
