A Yelp listing updated in August 2026 shows more than 1,000 reviews for the restaurant and lists Monday-through-Saturday lunch and dinner hours plus limited Sunday evening hours, with recent reviewers describing the same papa rellenas and Cuban sandwiches featured on the show. A separate dining guide, Find Me Gluten Free, also lists La Isla as a gluten-free-friendly Cuban restaurant at the same Washington Street address, with brightly colored wallpaper and an eat-in counter still noted as part of the dining room.
