What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives stopped at this downtown Manteo restaurant on the January 7, 2013 episode "Matches Made in Heaven," featuring Southwestern-Mexican fusion dishes built around local Outer Banks seafood. The restaurant, styled as Ortega'z Southwestern Grill & Wine Bar, sits on Sir Walter Raleigh Street on Roanoke Island. According to a Yelp business page updated 2026-07, the restaurant remains active at that address with 269 accumulated reviews, with hours listed as closed Monday and Tuesday and service beginning at noon Wednesday through Sunday. A site check on 2026-09-08 found that ortegaz.com, the domain on file for the restaurant, now displays unrelated gambling-related content rather than the restaurant's own site, so that domain could not be used to confirm current hours or menu.
