What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Pastabilities in downtown Syracuse in the episode "Fully Focused" (aired 2012-12-17), where Guy Fieri sampled a duck bacon flatbread topped with crumbled Humboldt Fog cheese and a pomegranate syrup drizzle. Pastabilities, a Syracuse staple since 1982 operated by owner Karyn Korteling at 311 S. Franklin Street, also runs the Pasta's Daily Bread bakery across the street. Hoodline described Pastabilities as a mother-daughters-run Italian spot still going strong more than four decades after opening. Hoodline reported on 2025-01-03 that Food Network was airing a new "Triple D Nation" episode revisiting Pastabilities for a meatball bake and angel-hair arancini. The restaurant's own website, pastabilities.com, was live on 2026-09-08 with a dinner and lunch menu, a bakery page and an online-ordering link.
