What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Fieri stopped at Leaping Lizard Cafe on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach for homemade sweet potato biscuits topped with local Edwards Surry ham and peach jam, plus a chicken salad sandwich made with peach chutney. The cafe operates as a bakery, gift shop, and caterer alongside its dining room, baking its own breads and desserts daily, and it sits along the Shore Drive corridor near the Chesapeake Bay. Checked on 2026-09-08, the business's website listed current weekly hours, including Monday and Tuesday service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the same 4408 Shore Dr address that Google Places lists in its current record. No sale, closure, or rename has surfaced in either the Google Places listing or the website content reviewed on 2026-09-08.
