What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 2013 'Cheese Paradise' episode (Season 4, Episode 19) featured MacBar, a small mac-and-cheese-themed restaurant and bar in Manhattan's SoHo/Nolita area, known for build-your-own bowls that paired artisanal cheeses with toppings, according to OnlyInYourState. The Prince Street spot operated as a compact, casual bar-style room, according to the same source. By August 2026 Yelp's listing for MacBar was updated to mark the restaurant closed, and Foursquare's page for the address similarly listed the restaurant as closed. Google's business listing for 54 Prince Street was also marked closed as of a September 2026 data check, consistent with the Yelp update.
Tripadvisor and Cititour listings for the address, found in this check, described the restaurant's past menu as offering more than a dozen mac and cheese varieties alongside a full bar. No dated source located in this check shows the restaurant reopened at the Prince Street address.
