What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Rounding out Homegrown & Homemade, Guy Fieri stopped at what was then called Mulberry Cafe on Jackson Avenue in Lackawanna, a family Italian kitchen known for scratch-made lasagna loaded with stuffed peppers. The restaurant now operates under the name Mulberry Italian Ristorante at the same 64 Jackson Avenue address, according to its own website (mulberryitalianristorante.com) and a Yelp listing updated 2026-06 that carries more than 680 reviews. The Buffalo-area dining guide Buffalo Spree also lists the business under the Mulberry Italian Ristorante name as a casual Italian restaurant, corroborating the change. Current listings show the restaurant still taking reservations and serving the Lackawanna neighborhood under its updated name.
