What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

To close Globetrottin', Guy Fieri sampled Gloria's Cafe's Salvadoran and Mexican cooking, including the Plato Tipico combination plate of pupusas, yuca frita, chicharron, curtido and fried plantains, plus the restaurant's Seven Seas soup. Gloria's Cafe has served the stretch of Venice Boulevard between Culver City and Mar Vista since 1981. Gloria's Cafe's own website (gloriascafe.com) is live and current, offering online ordering and a Thanksgiving pre-order promotion, and lists the restaurant's address and phone number unchanged from the show. A Yelp listing updated 2026-08 shows more than 1,800 reviews at the Venice Boulevard address and current daily hours of 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., together indicating the restaurant remains open.
