Part 1 — Season 9, Episode 2 Aired

In Homegrown & Homemade, Guy Fieri visited The Farmer's Shed, a farm-market-and-restaurant combo on Augusta Highway in Lexington that paired a produce stand with a Southern buffet-style kitchen. Owner Shirley served Guy her straight-from-the-farm cast-iron cornbread topped with brown sugar, along with coconut cake, pumpkin pie, fried pork chops, collard greens and Chicken Broccoli Supreme. The Farmer's Shed permanently closed on 2017-07-01, according to Triple D Life, which cited a Facebook announcement from the business. A Yelp listing updated 2025-07 also marks the Augusta Highway location permanently closed, and Food Network's own restaurant page for the address now carries a Closed tag. Triple D Life's closure record lists the shuttered restaurant's address as 2514 Augusta Highway, Lexington, SC 29072.

Part 2 — Season 21, Episode 14 Aired

On 'Southern Spectacular' (aired 2014-12-22), Guy Fieri visited The Farmer's Shed, a farm-to-table restaurant with an attached market that opened in Lexington in 1999, for dishes including shrimp and grits, pork chops with collard greens, and skillet-baked cornbread made from locally grown ingredients. The restaurant operated as a family-run business for nearly 18 years. DinersDriveInsDivesLocations.com, updated 2025-10-03, reports that the restaurant served its final meals on 2017-03-17, while TripleDLife.com cites a Facebook post reporting a permanent closure on 2017-07-01. The two closure dates differ, and no additional independent source was found to resolve the discrepancy. The Augusta Highway location in Lexington is listed as permanently closed on both sites, and no current website for the restaurant was located during this check.
