What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Rounding out Surf 'n Turf, Guy Fieri visited Singleton's Seafood Shack, a rustic waterside joint in the Mayport fishing village near Atlantic Beach known for Cajun fried shrimp, steamed shrimp and shrimp burgers made with locally sourced seafood. The restaurant has served the Jacksonville-area waterfront community since the 1970s and seats diners on a large deck overlooking the St. Johns River. Singleton's Seafood Shack continues to operate at 4728 Ocean Street, according to its own website (singletonsseafood.com), which lists current hours of 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and closed Tuesdays, plus online ordering. A Yelp listing updated 2026-08 shows more than 740 photos and reviews, confirming the business remains active.
