What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'Hey Butter Butter' featured Neighbor Bakehouse for its butter-laminated pastries among several San Francisco bakeries profiled that episode for flaky, butter-forward baked goods. IMDb credits Greg Mindel as chef-owner of the Dogpatch neighborhood shop. Neighbor Bakehouse operates from 2343 3rd Street, Unit 100, and a Yelp listing updated 2026-08 shows the bakery still active, noting it's open Tuesday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and closed Mondays. The Infatuation's review of the bakery describes its laminated pastries and sourdough loaves as neighborhood favorites, and Tripadvisor's page for the location carries reviews mentioning the same pastry case. Google Places likewise lists the 3rd Street location as operational as of a 2026-09-08 check. No source found indicates a closure, relocation, or ownership change since the episode aired.
