What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's episode "California Dreamin'" (S14E1) featured Campo, an Italian restaurant inside the Village at Mammoth shopping and lodging complex in Mammoth Lakes, California. The restaurant operated at 6201 Minaret Road, in the resort town's village center near the mountain's base. According to Yelp, whose listing for Campo was updated in April 2026, the restaurant is listed as closed. A separate consumer directory, BringFido, also lists Campo among closed Mammoth Lakes restaurants. The Google Places record checked for this project on 2026-09-08 had matched the Village at Mammoth complex generally rather than the Campo restaurant specifically, and it showed the complex itself as operating; that entry does not describe Campo's own status. No news article or ownership statement describing a specific closing date could be located. Diners searching for Campo at its former Minaret Road address should confirm current availability directly with the Village at Mammoth property before visiting.
