Part 1 — Season 32, Episode 4 Aired

SanDiegoVille reported in April 2020 that Pizzeria Luigi would appear in Guy Fieri's pandemic-era Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives takeout edition, with Fieri picking up the Golden Hill pizzeria's food for delivery. The segment centered on the Capone, a meat-lover's pizza the restaurant's own site says Fieri has called his favorite West Coast pie since its original 2008 Triple D visit. Pizzeria Luigi opened in 2004 in San Diego's Golden Hill neighborhood serving New York-style pizza and has since appeared on three separate Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episodes.
