What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

OB Noodle House & Sake Bar serves a Vietnamese-influenced Asian fusion menu built around pho, along with spicy garlic wings that have become a signature order for regulars. The restaurant operates at 2218 Cable Street in San Diego's Ocean Beach neighborhood, where it has since expanded into a second location, OB Noodle House Bar 1502, and an adjoining music hall on Newport Avenue. A Yelp listing for the Cable Street address, updated in September 2026, records more than 4,500 reviews and lists current hours of noon to 10:00 p.m. daily. The restaurant's own website carries an older copyright notice dating to 2016 in its footer, even though its menu and location pages describe the business in the present tense; the Yelp update is the more current dated evidence available.
