Guy Fieri visited The Grilled Cheeserie, then operating as a food truck, for the December 23, 2013 episode "Family Time," according to a recap on FoodiePie's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives fan site. The business was founded by chef Crystal De Luna-Bogan, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained cook, and her husband Joseph, who moved the concept from Los Angeles to Nashville, according to a feature on shewholovesfoodandtravel.com. The truck later grew into a brick-and-mortar melt shop at 2003 Belcourt Avenue in Nashville's Hillsboro Village area, per the same feature. Yelp's business page for the restaurant, updated February 2026, showed 696 photos and 689 reviews logged at the Belcourt Avenue address, and Seamless separately listed the location as an active delivery option under the same address.

Part 2 — Season 22, Episode 14 Aired

On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives' "Food TruckAPalooza" (aired 2015-02-22), Guy Fieri visited The Grilled Cheeserie in Nashville for a pimento mac and cheese sandwich topped with bacon and tomato, dipped in a homemade roasted red pepper tomato soup, according to Food Network. The truck later expanded into a brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Part 3 — Season 33, Episode 2 Aired

In "Takeout: Bringing Comfort Home" (aired 2020-08-28), Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives revisited The Grilled Cheeserie, a Nashville grilled-cheese truck turned restaurant. According to the Grilled Cheeserie's own press page, Guy Fieri highlighted the pimento mac and cheese sandwich, made with Tennessee cheddar and homemade mayo, then topped with bacon and tomato before grilling. Dinersdriveinsdiveslocations.com lists the shop as a repeat Nashville stop on the show.
