What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode featured Slim McGinn's Irish Pub, an Irish-themed stand on Grandstand Avenue inside Wisconsin State Fair Park known for novelty items like an Irish caramel apple pie float. Slim McGinn's also operates a separate, year-round Irish pub at 8100 W Greenfield Ave in West Allis, according to a Yelp listing updated in March 2026. According to wistatefair.com, the fair's own site, checked 2026-09-07, the Grandstand Avenue stand remains a listed fair location, still describing items such as Irish onion rolls, corned beef egg rolls, and specialty coffee drinks alongside the pie float.
A separate, business-specific Google Places listing for 'Slim McGinn's at Wisconsin State Fair,' distinct from the fairground's own generic entry, lists an operational status as of a 2026-09-09 check. Together the two dated, independent sources point to the Grandstand Avenue stand remaining an active fair vendor this season.
