What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
An episode on indulgent classics featured Strip House, a steakhouse on East 12th Street near Union Square known for dry-aged steaks and its dark, red-walled dining room. The downtown location is part of the Strip House chain, which the site's own page text ties to the Landry's Select Club loyalty program, indicating current ownership by the Landry's restaurant group. Strip House serves dinner only, with hours varying by night of the week. A site check on 2026-09-08 found striphouse.com's downtown location page live, listing current hours of Monday 4-9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 4-10 p.m., and Friday-Saturday 4-11 p.m., along with an active 'Order Online' pickup option. The page's copyright year was not shown, and the latest year referenced in the page text was 2025, but the current-looking weekly hours and working ordering link indicate the listing is being actively maintained rather than left stale.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
