What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Swiss Hibiscus in the episode "Swiss, Sandwiches and Sausage," which aired 2017-02-10, spotlighting the restaurant's Swiss and European dishes. Swiss Hibiscus is a restaurant serving European cuisine in Portland, Oregon's Alberta Arts neighborhood; Wikipedia (revised 2026-07-11) notes it was formerly known as Cafe Hibiscus. A website check on 2026-09-08 found swisshibiscus.com listing 2026-dated specials, a "We're Open!!" notice, and current hours of Thursday through Saturday 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with online reservations available through the site. The combination of the active, currently updated website and Wikipedia's description of ongoing operations indicates Swiss Hibiscus continues to serve customers under its original name at the same Alberta Arts location where it was filmed for the show.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
