Is Triple Nickel Tavern Still Open? Bar Rescue Update

Triple Nickel Tavern, a longtime punk-rock venue in Colorado Springs, was the subject of the November 2016 episode "Punk as a Drunk." Its Yelp business page, updated as of July 2026, lists current reviews and operating hours for the same 103 South Wahsatch Avenue address, and its Facebook page remains active with venue updates. The bar's own website continues to list ongoing show bookings consistent with continued operation under the original ownership and name.

Unlike some episodes in this season, Triple Nickel Tavern was not renamed during production, so there is no post-rescue identity to track separately from the original business. Overall, available evidence -- current review activity, an active venue website, and a maintained event calendar -- supports treating Triple Nickel Tavern as a bar that has remained open under its original name at its original Colorado Springs location for roughly a decade after its Bar Rescue appearance, without evidence of the ownership or business changing hands in the interim.
