What happened after Food Paradise?
In 'Late Night Paradise,' the show featured B.A.D. Burger (Breakfast All Day), a 24-hour East Village diner known for oversized burgers and an all-day breakfast menu built around dishes like huevos rancheros and French toast, plus vegan and gluten-free options. The restaurant operated out of 171 Avenue A in Manhattan's East Village, a space EV Grieve noted had once hosted the D.C. punk band Bad Brains' 171A recording sessions, and it also ran an in-house bakery. According to EV Grieve, New York State seized the restaurant over unpaid taxes in early February 2015, and its contents were auctioned off the following month. Yelp's listing for the address was still marked permanently closed as of an August 2026 update, with no indication a B.A.D. Burger location has reopened since.
