What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
In Bringin' It Home, Guy Fieri visited Cafe Citti, a family-run Italian roadhouse on Highway 12 in Kenwood known for Tuscan-style lasagna, handmade gnocchi and a stellar Caesar salad. Chef Luca Citti and his wife, Linda, opened the restaurant in 1990 and ran it from the same leased Kenwood building for more than 30 years. According to Sonoma Magazine (2020-10-12), the Cittis closed the Kenwood dining room and relocated to a takeout-focused space at 2792 Fourth Street in Santa Rosa, citing needed building renovations, pandemic restrictions and the Glass Fire. The Press Democrat reported on 2026-02-20 that the Cittis permanently closed Cafe Citti's Santa Rosa location after a 35-year run, ending in-house dining following a monthlong break that January, with Linda Citti citing thin restaurant margins and an ending lease.
