What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Murphy's Bar & Grill in the Bringin' It Home episode, S9E4, which aired 2010-05-17, spotlighting the pub's hearty Irish bar food. Murphy's Bar & Grill is an Irish pub in a historic building on Merchant Street in downtown Honolulu, one of the city's oldest commercial blocks. A site check on 2026-09-08 found the business's own website live, returning HTTP 200 with a real-time notice that the pub was closed that day in observance of Labor Day and would reopen the next morning at 11 a.m. The same page listed regular hours of Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. until closing, with the kitchen closing at 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 p.m. on Fridays, and noted the pub is closed Saturdays and Sundays until further notice. The site also listed a current food and drink menu under the same Irish pub branding.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
