What happened after Food Paradise?
Farley Girls Cafe showcased classic Southern breakfast and lunch plates from its storefront on Postoffice Street in Galveston's historic Strand District, the island's main shopping and dining corridor. The episode captured the cafe's casual counter-and-table service and homestyle cooking. Google Places' record for the Postoffice Street address lists the business status as permanently closed, according to a 2026-09-08 check. The farleygirls.com domain still resolves and returns an HTTP 200 response, but the same check found the page carrying no menu, hours, or other operating content beyond its bare title, consistent with an inactive, unmaintained site rather than a functioning restaurant page. Google Places lists the cafe's exact address as 801 Postoffice Street, within that same Strand District block.
