What happened after Food Paradise?
The 'Best of the Midwest' episode featured Hofbrauhaus Cleveland (Food Network), a Bavarian-style beer hall and restaurant on Chester Avenue that hosts private events and catering alongside its regular dining room. Hofbrauhaus Cleveland offers reservations, an events calendar, and a recurring 'Hoppy Hour' promotion, according to the restaurant's own site, and describes itself as bringing Bavarian brewery tradition and imported beer to downtown Cleveland. A September 8, 2026 check of hofbrauhauscleveland.com found the site live with listed hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, according to hofbrauhauscleveland.com. The same check found the site's latest referenced year was 2025, with no copyright date displayed anywhere on the page, according to hofbrauhauscleveland.com.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
